Walk to Ram Ki Paidi Ghat as the sun goes down. The evening aarti here is smaller than the Sarayu main aarti but deeply beautiful — oil lamps, flower offerings, the sound of conches and bells carrying across the water. Sit on the ghat steps and simply watch. This is Ayodhya at its most elemental.
