INTRODUCTION
Kanak Bhawan, the "Golden Palace", is believed to have been gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi after her marriage to Lord Ram. Today it is one of Ayodhya's most beautiful temples, celebrated for its ornate idols and the soft devotional music that fills its courtyard.
Quieter than the city's busiest sites, it is a place to pause and simply take it in.
